I can’t seem to have enough Halloween decorations for our apartment. I love making our apartment look festive, no matter the holiday! Home Décor to me needs to have character and personality. I enjoy doing DIY projects and finding unique décor pieces at the local thrift store. I’ve compiled some easy, Halloween decoration projects that can quickly change the feeling of your living space to a spooky one!

It is important to remember with holiday decorating to stay on budget. It is easy with all of the hundreds of stores carrying Halloween decorations to see something adorable and buy it on impulse. Try to pick a few items you are searching for or a dollar amount you want to stay under and don’t veer from that. To make my money go farther, I browse the local dollar/thrift stores for cute, inexpensive décor that should last for a few years. This “Stay Scary” Headstone and pumpkins are some of the items I snagged from Dollar Tree. I chose to paint two of the pumpkins, one black and one gold. (It adds more definition and gives the pumpkins a more “chic” feel!) This pumpkin pail was cute before, but it’s adorable now that it’s covered in Glitter! You can easily use craft store glitter and glue to transform any ordinary bucket into a sparkly eye-catching decoration.
This ghost plate I found at the local thrift store, for a mere .50 Cents! Printables are also a great way to add some personality to your home. I’ve included some of the printables I have used around my home this year! They’re all so cute so feel free to use them all.
